Romantic Ruffles

I have been wearing quite a bit of pink lately. Aside from the fact that it's very on trend this year, I actually always had a bit of a soft spot for this pretty color. Yet, as I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, pink has a bit of a reputation for being overly girly,  so I always make sure to pair to with something edgy or tough to keep a look from becoming too feminine.

Fot today's look, I opted for a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, which happen to be a particular favorite at the moment ( last seen here ). Aside from the way they fit, I love this particular shade of grayish blue, which tends to go so well with any pastel color. Though I was tempted to trow on a pair of mules for a moment, I decided to go with a pair of satin sandals. First and foremost, they are new, and if you read my blog on regular basis, you probably know that nothing in this world can prevent me from wearing new shoes the moment I get them, but also because I feel that they add a slightly romantic touch to this outfit and work very well with soft, famine ruffles on the blouse.
