4th of July Boat Trippin'

Happy 4th of July Everyone! Hope those of you who celebrated the holiday today had a wonderful time with your loved ones. This year I’m away from home for the celebration (spending the long weekend in the Hamptons with Revolve). So, since I wasn’t going to be in LA, my husband and I decided to have our own little 4th of July party a bit early.

We used to go to Newport Beach quite a lot. We’d rent a boat, ride around the marina, and have a mini picnic. And that is exactly what we decided to do this time around. The weather that day was absolutely perfect by the beach so we ended up having such a lovely time. We walked around, had lunch at one of our favorite spots, had some ice cream ( of course we had ice cream, I mean I can't imagine a perfect day without it ), and eventually got on the boat. Those type of days make me realize how important it is to have quality time with your loved ones no matter the crazy your schedule gets!

I decided to go super casual that day and very 4th of July. I brought out my white and blue stripes, and my favorite red backpack. So this year I got into the holiday spirit way early! How about you guys, how did you celebrate?
